Victoria lynn Weston is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and producer whose work explores erased history, silenced women, and the consequences of telling the truth.

She is the creator of FREE LOVER, the acclaimed short film about Victoria Woodhull, America’s first female presidential nominee, and the director of the PBS-featured documentary America’s Victoria. Her films have screened internationally and received multiple festival awards.

Victoria’s work is defined by restraint, psychological intensity, and moral clarity. She is drawn to stories where power resists accountability and women refuse to be diminished. History, in her hands, is not nostalgia—it is confrontation.

The Woodhull project represents years of research and creative commitment. Through film, Victoria seeks to restore a voice that was deliberately silenced and to bring a denied American story into the light.  This is not about the biographical books on Woodhull, but a story that has yet to be told.
